According to the information released by the all China Metallurgical Association, the proportion of private iron and steel enterprises in the country's crude steel output continues to increase, from 62% in 2019 to 63.21%, with a total output of 66569 million tons. In 2021, the crude steel output of private steel enterprises will be about 15 million tons, accounting for about 10% of the country. According to the crude steel data in 2001, China's crude steel output was 115.63 million tons in that year. 20 years later, the output of private steel will account for 71% of the domestic steel increment.

  By combing the production of private iron and steel in 2020, we can find that private iron and steel has begun to enlarge their business. At present, there are four enterprises producing 20 million tons and above. Shagang group ranks the first, with crude steel output reaching about 41.6 million tons, an increase of nearly 500000 tons compared with that in 2019; Beijing Jianlong heavy industry continues to expand, and its output in Shanxi has increased significantly, with crude steel output of about 35.7 million tons, an increase of 4.5 million tons (14.5%); after new Tiangang entered Delong, its profit last year reached 4.03 billion yuan, and the total output of Delong group reached 28.26 million tons, accounting for 20%. After Fangda special steel acquired Dagang, its output was about 19.6 million tons, an increase of 25.2%.

  There are three enterprises with crude steel output of more than 14 million tons. Rizhao Iron and steel group ranks the fifth with 14.4 million tons, an increase of 200000 tons compared with that in 2019. According to the report of Cangzhou Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. and Fengnan iron and Steel Co., Ltd., which are affiliated to Hebei Xinhua united, the output directly reaches 14.17 million tons, ranking the sixth in private iron and steel industry. The crude steel output of Hebei Jingye group is 14.12 million tons, an increase of 12.24%, taking the seventh place.

  The last five companies with more than 10 million tons of crude steel output are Guangxi Shenglong metallurgical's 12.06 million tons; Zhongtian iron and Steel Group's 12.76 million tons (11.93 million tons in 2019); Qingshan holding group's main product is stainless steel, and its sales revenue ranking the first among private iron and steel enterprises; Nanjing Iron and steel company's 1158 million tons. The output of Donghai special steel in Hebei Province also reaches 10.88 million tons, with an output of 7.6 million tons in 2019.

  The total output of the above 12 iron and steel enterprises is 226 million tons, accounting for 34% of the total output of private enterprises.
