Long march 5B carrier rocket
The successful first flight of the long march 5B carrier rocket has further consolidated the position of the long march 5B series of launch vehicles in the world. It is a magnificent victory and the latest achievement in the construction of China's aerospace power. China Baowu Special Metallurgy Company (hereinafter referred to as Baowu Special metallurgy), Shagang Northeast Special Steel and other steel enterprises have provided key materials for rocket engine supporting research and development.
Baowu Teye developed ultra-long high temperature alloy fine thin wall tube and high temperature alloy series turbine rotor forgings for a certain type of liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen engine of Long March 5 B launch vehicle.
Various types of special stainless steel strips developed by Northeast Special Steel are applied to the bellows of rocket engine, which have excellent mechanical properties and welding properties.
Wudongde Hydropower Station
On June 29, 2020, the first batch of units of Wudongde Hydropower Station, a national major project of "power transmission from west to East", will be put into operation. With an installed capacity of 10.2 million kilowatts, the hydropower station is the fourth largest in China and the seventh largest in the world, and its annual power generation will reach 38.91 billion kilowatt hours.
The 800 MPa Grade High Strength Quenched and tempered steel used in the heavy plate Department of Baosteel Co., Ltd., Baowu, China, is the key component of the hydropower station turbine volute, which has the characteristics of high strength, toughness and excellent welding performance. The 750 MPa grade sxre750 hot rolled yoke steel first produced by Baosteel in the world is applied to 10 hydropower units in the hydropower station, and its high strength, toughness, high precision and high magnetic induction performance meet the requirements of large hydropower stations for hydro-generator rotor in engineering.
Shougang's high-quality magnetic induction oriented electrical steel has been used in 38 dsp-315mva / 500kV generator transformers of the hydropower station, with a total supply of more than 2000 tons.
More than 50000 tons of high-quality hydropower steel of Hecang is used in the core body and fan body of the rotor support of the hydropower station, as well as the penstock, bifurcated pipe and other key equipment of the hydropower station.
Taiyuan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. has supplied magnetic pole steel, high strength yoke steel, special stainless steel and other steel products for the hydropower station, becoming an important supplier of key materials for the project.
"Hualong No.1"
On November 27, 2020, China's first independently designed and built third-generation nuclear power unit "hualong-1", the world's first reactor, CNNC Fuqing nuclear power unit 5, was successfully connected to the grid for the first time. "Hualong No.1" is the third generation PWR nuclear power innovation achievement with completely independent intellectual property rights developed and designed by CNNC, with a design life of 60 years.
The silicon steel sheet produced by China Baowu Baosteel Co., Ltd. is used to manufacture the stator core of the generator set in this project.
Hegang has supplied more than 110000 tons of high-strength rebar and 5000 tons of high-strength steel plate for the project.
Angang supplied nearly 1500 tons for the project, of which 75 tons of nuclear grade I key equipment material, 15MnNi, was applied to the reactor pressure vessel support parts.
The wide and thick cold rolled stainless steel products of TISCO are applied to the stainless steel cladding of the passive reactor cavity water injection tank of No.5 unit of the project.
The p280gh nuclear power pipe produced by Hualing Henggang is used in the main water supply pipe of the project.
