[Ferro-Alloys.com] As the biggest silicon manganese purchaser in China settled September tender price, Ningxia and Gansu based producers dipped ex-work price for silicon manganese to RMB6,200-6,300/mt, and RMB6,300-6,400/mt in Shanxi. Some suppliers believed that downtrend for silicon manganese in Sept would be mainly blamed for ample spot supply and slowing growth of steel output. Given far distance to steel mills in Hebei area, parts of producers in Ningxia and Gansu of China began to readjust sale price. Since Shasteel failed to fix purchase price on silicon manganese, most producers in south areas put price unchanged.
