According to statistic National Bureau of Statistic of China, China export 89668.61 tons of silicon metal in September, up by 37.67% Y-O-Y, and it set a record in this year.

Statistics of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association showed output of magnesium reached 0.6437 million tons in the first three quarters of 2014 in China, registering an increase of 7.48%.

Based on statistics of relevant authorities of main production regions and talks with major ferrosilicon producers, spot supply of ferrosilicon was in abundant status in late October in China.
